Reporting to: Global EDM Head
Role Purpose Statement: Lead and support enterprise master data programs to deliver Bunge’s Digital initiatives covering Material Master Data. Accountable for leading and supporting all initiatives such as developing a strategy and business solutions, Data Models, Data Migration, Data Quality and successful implementation of MDG/SAP HANA Master Data. Has broad responsibility for driving alignment across multiple business functional areas to define & execute the project scope and deliverables.
This role is expected to work closely with:
• Business Subject Matter Experts to understand requirement details for providing effective and timely solutions.
• Business Data Owners to ensure alignment with domain priorities such as getting data rules & requirements.
• Business functional area leaders to ensure scope & deliverables are aligned to business needs.
• IT team to provide functional domain expertise on both Customer and Supplier Data
• Requirements are gathered effectively.
• Work closely with technical Solution Architects from IT group to ensure alignment to solution direction. • Bunge Business Services leaders to ensure solutions are globally standard and regionally tailored.
• Delivery Partner teams (both internal and external) to ensure requirements, specifications, design and delivery are high quality and meet business expectations.
• Enterprise Architecture (IT) to ensure technology platform is appropriate.
• Works closely with other Bunge IT teams to align the functional requirements to ensure integrated technology solutions are seamlessly executed across technology platforms and areas of responsibility.
Domain subject matter expert in the Data management, Data Models – SAP/MDG and governance for all the key data types, solution delivery and data quality measurement. Delivers technical and functional leadership for complex master data solutions and can mentor others in the organization. May provide work direction / general guidance to other team members as a functional and technical lead. Enterprise Data Management
KEY FUNCTIONS:
1. Responsible for the end-to-end business requirements (Data Migration/Integration Solutioning) – requirement gathering, translate into Functional specifications.
2. Engage with business to gather requirements, workshops, features listing, Prioritizing, negotiation of scope and priorities with business.
3. Functional/technical leader of large, complex global projects. Accountabilities across multiple functional and technical areas with a wide range of complexity.
4. Manages scope & deliverables of strategic projects to ensure a successful outcome that is aligned to business, IT, and domain priorities.
5. Builds relationships with internal and external service providers and support teams to ensure effective project delivery.
6. Works directly with business, IT, and BBS resources to align on requirements and solutions.
7. Maintains in-depth understanding of processes and capability needs for master data. 8. Proactive analysis of business processes and identification of innovative ways to address business needs and address them appropriately in a timely manner.
9. Leads Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives; consults and shares knowledge across organization; full awareness of industry trends related to master data around both ‘Customer and Supplier’.
DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS AND REQUIEREMENTS:
1. Direct experience delivering Data Migration, SAP Hana and MDG Implementation.
2. Hands-on knowledge of key technologies including SAP MDG, Data Lake, Data Model, MDM, SAP Information Steward.
3. Excellent knowledge and domain expertise in SAP/MDG Master Data Management
4. Experience with Data Dictionaries and Metadata management.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE:
• B. Tech / MCA / BE Experience:
• Minimum 10-12 years of professional data management experience playing the role of Data Migration lead / functional architect/data architect in global master data domain independently.
• MUST have Minimum 6 to 8 years of providing business solution and working experience in SAP HANA, MDG/MDM, Information Steward / Collibra
• Minimum 5 years of experience working and leading in Data Migration / SAP HANA / MDG Implementation
• Strong experience in working directly with business clients driving requirements workshop, finalization and prioritization of requirements and requirements negotiations with the business stakeholder’s expectation management. Enterprise Data Management
• Experience in translating business requirements into functional (information/data) design, establishing data models and preferably converting functional design to technical design.
• Have a good understanding of the Data Life Cycle Management
• Strong experience in working closely with SAP ECC/Hana data structures and interface.
• Experience with FMCG / CPG (Consumer Products Group) organizations is preferable
• Strong leadership and service delivery skills.
• Cultivates networking opportunities with peer organizations.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing project teams in offsite and remote locations.
• Able to work in a virtual team which may work across distance (remote), cultures and time zone
